6/23/2015 Current Weight 278.5

I’ve been doing a lot more walking lately.  I keep track of it on my iphone, so I don’t blog as much. I’ve been eating less sweets but am back on the Dr. Pepper.  I do think I am finally on a course, though. I now make time to walk at least three times a week and am walking a mile in 17 minutes. Not great, but I’m enjoying walking.

1/19/15 Current Weight: 280

My weekend was an unhealthy mess. Pizza, fried chicken, soda, fries and candy. In the past, it was this kind of weekend that would make me abandon this blog. We DID, however, do a ton of walking. And I even lost some weight from last week. So, another week begins and hopefully will end with more control. The mantra I’m trying to remember, “If I don’t buy it, I can’t eat it.”

I may stop the daily posts.  It has been a good exercise to record what I eat, but I’m going to see if I can maintain teh weight loss without it.  I’ probably just record my weekly weight from here on out.

Chick-fil-a grilled sandwich
Large fry
Large sweet tea
Coffee

Exercise: NONE
While I didn’t exercise today, I was experiencing soreness from yesterday’s workout. So, at least there are results.  While at Chick-fil-a I saw a kid eating an iced dream cone and I wanted one so bad.  Katie has been swiping the boys movie candy every now and again; and I’m tempted. But I’m trying to keep real sweets to the weekend.  Better get to bed; it’s past my curfew.
